A filter built into the Dean 2FPRG50T PowerRunner™ gas fryer's cabinet uses gravity draining, which constantly drains residual oil out of its 3-inch drain line to improve oil quality. Able to filter oil when another frypot is in use, it takes 5 minutes to cycle one of the unit's frypots, minimizing operational lags. To streamline cleaning, the sloped drain pan doesn't leave behind buildup, and its 4-GPM pump helps reduce clogging. A thermo-tube system heats a large surface area of the frypots rather than concentrated spaces to minimize oil overload and degradation. A durable temperature probe provides a precise temperature readout to improve operator management; users can adjust temperatures with the millivolt controller.

To extend its surface life, the Dean 2FPRG50T gas fryer's frypots, doors, and sides are made of corrosion- and rust-resistant stainless steel. Both frypots have a 50-pound oil capacity and 14-inch-wide by 14-inch-deep by 3¹/₂-inch-high frying area to accommodate high-volume frying. Great for back-to-back use, these frypots heat up and recover said heat quickly. Overall, this fryer measures 31 inches wide by 30³/₄ inches deep by 45 inches high; both the filter and unit are furnished with casters to ease maneuvering.
