To prevent theft and tampering, the Delfield GAF1P-S reach-in freezer has a locking door. When an employee leaves it open, it shuts automatically, yet it can be propped open to facilitate cabinet loading and unloading. The front of the unit has an easyTouch® screen that displays a readout of the current temperature and enables adjustment from -5 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. If the temperature rises too high or drops too low, an alarm sounds to inform employees.

The Delfield GAF1P-S one-section freezer provides 21 cubic feet of interior space. Its cabinet has three shelves that can be adjusted to accommodate a range of product. The shelves are chrome plated to resist corrosion and made of wire to enable uniform airflow. To help employees locate product, the cabinet is illuminated with bright LED lights. The refrigeration system is self-contained to streamline installation and cools with environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.
