The Dexter Russell 40D-10PCP Connoisseur® roast slicer works well for precisely cutting ham and chicken. Juices and oils from the meat help the knife slice by lubricating its small oval indentions on both sides of the blade. Its duo-edge design, which is 10 inches long, is stiff enough to maintain its shape when slicing, and it's constructed of high-carbon steel to resist stains and corrosion over time. An ergonomic laminated rosewood handle provides a professional look and is comfortable to hold. There are two rivets on the handle to keep the handle and blade in place throughout use.
