Along with pineapples, watermelon, and cantaloupe, this blade style also works well with peppers, tomatoes, and other waxy vegetables. Its high-carbon steel blade is resistant to corrosion and designed to support high-volume prepping. The handle is constructed of polypropylenea'¬a€a strong material that has a nonslip texture for comfortable gripping. To promote sanitation, the blade-to-handle attachment is sealed to eliminate hard-to-clean crevices.
