The Groen (2)HY-3E electric steamer has two compartments and can hold three 12-inch by 20-inch by 21/2-inch pans in each chamber. Made of stainless steel, the pan racks are durable and can be removed for cleaning. Both compartment's interiors are also made of stainless steel€”a material that resists rusting and facilitates cleaning. Providing operators with access to the internal components for servicing, the right-side and left-side interior panels are removable.
The doors on this unit are stainless steel and have insulating, one-piece gaskets. They open with comfortable handles and can be reversed in the field to open from either side. This Groen (2)HY-3E countertop steamer uses powerful blower fans to circulate steam evenly throughout the chambers and between the pans. Between loads, the unit stays ready to steam. Operators can set the unit to steam on a 60-minute timer or enable it to continuously steam for as long as the recipe needs.
