Groen DL-40 40 gal Steam Kettle - Manual Tilt, 2/3 Jacket, Direct Steam
Because the Groen DL-40 direct-steam kettle requires a remote steam source, it works best for kitchens equipped with steam generators or external boilers. It operates at steam pressures between 5 and 25 PSI, and a stainless steel two-thirds steam jacket built into the interior heats product uniformly to reduce waste. To withstand long-term heating, the kettle's interior is made of rust- and corrosion-resistant, type 316 stainless steel, and its 40-pound capacity is ideal for heating large batches of soup, pasta, or stew frequently.
To remove heated product, users can rotate the Groen DL-40 steam kettle's hand crank, which slowly moves the unit forward for controlled pouring. A butterfly-shaped lip reduces splatter risk during pouring to streamline product removal, and it's welded into the unit to withstand heavy-duty, long-term use. Because it's secured on a stainless steel yoke with tubular leg supports, this kettle is stabilized in place to reduce spill risks. Overall, it measures 43 inches wide by 341/2 inches deep by 36 inches high and is designed to be bolted into the floor.
