Groen HY-6SE-24 (6) Pan Convection Steamer - Cabinet, 208v/3ph

To maintain the color and retain moisture and nutrients in food, the Groen HY-6SE-24 HyPlus™ floor model steamer has two steaming compartments. It generates steam with a built-in pressure boiler in the 24-inch cabinet base. Side-mounted blowers move steam around the compartments and between the pans, improving steam velocity. This unit has stainless steel pan supports and holds six full-size, 2¹/₂-inch-deep steam pans, and because the interiors are made of stainless steel, they are heavy duty and simplify cleaning. For servicing and maintenance, operators can remove the panel on the right side for component access.

In the Groen HY-6SE-24 electric steamer are control systems for the steam flow and pressure boiler, both of which operate with a power-on switch. Steam can be monitored by a 60-minute timer or set to continuously steam, and if water is low or pressure is high, the boiler automatically shuts off. When the power is switched off and the water is cooled to 170 degrees Fahrenheit, the boiler automatically drains to reduce sediment buildup.
