To create an environment where foods are held at safe serving temperatures, the Hatco GRHDH-2P Glo-Ray® heated display case uses a pre-focused infrared heater and thermostatically controlled heated shelf base. Operators can modify the base's temperatures from 100 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, while the top-mounted heater moves heat where most heat escapes€”the shelf's outer edge. Because some foods can dry out when held in warm temperatures for long periods of time, this cabinet uses a 3-quart water reservoir to produce the humidity needed to preserve foods' original textures. In total, its 28-inch-wide by 21¹/₂-inch-deep shelf accommodates two full-size food pans.

To merchandise foods on countertops effectively, the transparent Hatco GRHDH-2P display case provides a full view of the cabinet, while coated, shatterproof incandescent bulbs highlight the unit's interior for optimal presentation. For a streamlined self-service system, customers can select their purchase by opening the front access doors, and employees can load fresh items into the back through the sliding rear doors. This 32¹/₂-inch-wide by 26-inch-deep by 25-inch-high aluminum and stainless steel unit resists corrosion and remains cool throughout heating to avoid heat loss and countertop damage. This unit is furnished with adjustable 4-inch legs for leveling on irregular surfaces.
