To maximize display and holding capabilities without occupying additional counterspace, the dual-shelf Hatco GRHDH-4PD Glo-Ray® heated display case measures 58¹/₂ inches wide by 26 inches deep€”the same width and depth as its single-shelf counterpart. Both shelves have heated bases with individual thermostatic controls, and operators can modify temperatures from 100 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit to create specific holding environments for various foods. Pre-focused, top-mounted infrared heaters move heat toward the shelves' outer edges to minimize heat loss. To retain the textures of foods stored on the lower shelf, a humidity chamber with a 6-quart water reservoir creates a humid environment.

While the Hatco GRHDH-4PD display case's top shelf measures 54 inches wide by 16⁹/₅₀ inches deep, its lower shelf measures 54 inches wide by 21¹/₂ inches deep and accommodates four full-size food pans. To retain heat and provide a clear view of merchandised items, this 30³/₂₅-inch-tall unit is encased with transparent tempered glass and lighted with incandescent bulbs. Customers can select their purchase through the front doors, while employees can load fresh foods into the unit through the sliding back doors. Corrosion resistant and simple to clean, its stainless steel and aluminum frame resists daily wear from countertop use in convenience stores and supermarkets.
