Because the Hatco GRS-30-G Glo-Ray® heated shelf's thermostatic control has a temperature range between 80 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit, it's ideal for use as a warm work shelf or heated base addition to a buffet line or self-service area. Its blanket element distributes heat evenly across the surface, generating enough warmth to keep prepared items at safe temperatures for short-term holding. For maximum surface heat retention, this shelf is insulated with fiberglass. To turn the unit on or off quickly, it includes a power switch that illuminates to indicate the surface is hot.

The Hatco GRS-30-G countertop heated shelf's straightforward design features a resilient stainless steel top and an extruded aluminum base for corrosion resistance and durability. Lightweight and portable, this freestanding unit measures 30 inches wide by 15³/₄ inches deep by 2³⁹/₁₀₀ inches high and is mounted on 1-inch nonslip rubber feet that secure it in place to prevent accidental adjustment during loading or retrieval.
