This Hatco GRS-30-H Glo-Ray® freestanding heated shelf's stainless steel top resists rust, corrosion, and wear from rigorous use, exuding a practical appearance that suits front- and back-of-house applications. Its 30-inch-wide by 17¹/₂-inch-deep by 2³⁹/₁₀₀-inch-high design can fit existing buffet lines and self-service stations, and to prevent sliding as food pans are placed on its surface, it's fitted with 1-inch nonslip rubber feet.

The Hatco GRS-30-H heated shelf's thermostatic control can be modified from 80 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit as holding requirements change. Once temperatures are set, the blanket-style heating element directs heat uniformly across the shelf's surface. While this element can generate enough warmth to keep foods at safe serving temperatures for short periods of time, integrated fiberglass insulation retains heat near the holding surface.
