To withstand regular, repeated use, the Hatco GRS-72-B Glo-Ray® heated shelf has a durable aluminum base and a heavy-duty, stainless steel top. Rubber feet prevent the unit from sliding when bumped into, holding it firmly in place on a countertop. This unit is designed to keep food warm until served at a level that is adjusted using the thermostat. Fiberglass insulation concentrates heat around the top and the blanket-type heating element spreads it evenly over the entire 72-inch by 7³/₄-inch surface. Because this unit is open, with access on both sides, it can be used in pass-thru windows or on serving lines.
