The Hatco SAL-1-208 electric salamander broiler detects when a plate is present to activate the heating elements. These three elements are independently controlled for precise cooking of food at any stage, and this piece is useful for toasting bread, melting cheese, and heating foods in a sandwich shop or cafeteria. To maintain product warmth without cooking it further, it features a holding function with eight programmable heat levels. The hood of the broiler is adjustable to control its browning capabilities.
For flexible installation, the Hatco SAL-1-208 salamander broiler can be attached to a wall using the included wall-mounting hardware. For countertop use, it's equipped with 4-inch legs that can be adjusted to prevent wobbling on uneven surfaces. It's fitted with a drip pan that captures grime and crumbs to simplify cleaning. Made of stainless steel, this unit is rust and corrosion resistant, and it measures 2217/25 inches wide by 2133/50 inches deep by 2313/16 inches high.
