Hoshizaki CR85A 85" Steelheart Series Chef Base w/ (4) Drawers - 115v

The Hoshizaki CR85A chef base accommodates 1,500 pounds of equipment and has plenty of space for employees to prepare food. The top has a marine edge and a drip edge to contain messes and prevent things from falling off, and its ceramic heat shield prevents it from burning when used with hot equipment. The base is refrigerated to hold food product, and using the solid-state controls, operators can adjust the temperature from 32 to 52 degrees Fahrenheit depending on need. An alarm will sound if the temperature drops to an unsafe range, which can be seen on the LED display.

To ensure durability, the Hoshizaki CR85A chef base is made of stainless steel. It has four drawers sealed tight with magnetic gaskets, and each of them holds full-size food pans€”three in the left drawers and two in the right. The drawers have aluminum handles to provide access to the interior, and finger cut-outs facilitate grabbing a food pan without accidentally touching its contents. Its refrigeration system is located at the side with a removable panel to streamline maintenance. This system is self-contained and operates with environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.
