A versatile unit, the Hoshizaki DT1A-HS commercial refrigerator and freezer can accommodate frozen products in the bottom and cold items in the top. Using digital controls, users can adjust the refrigerator portion from 33 to 52 degrees Fahrenheit and the freezer from -10 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit. The self-contained refrigeration system is top mounted to prevent dust and debris from getting into it, and it is cooled with environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. It has an evaporator to remove condensation, and its coils are epoxy coated to resist corrosion.

The Hoshizaki DT1A-HS one-section refrigerator freezer has three shelves that can be adjusted in one-inch increments, and they are made of wire to promote airflow throughout stored produce. These shelves are epoxy coated for protection, making them corrosion resistant. To prevent theft and tampering, the two solid doors have locks that can be secured at the end of the night. Gaskets seal the doors to retain cold temperatures, and they are protected with the unit's stepped design. With bright LED lights, operators can locate items in the cabinet quickly. The exterior is made of stainless steel for durability.
