To ensure durability and corrosion resistance, the interior of the Hoshizaki EF2A-FS reach-in freezer is constructed of aluminum with a stainless steel floor. The unit's front is also constructed of stainless steel to prevent damage from scratching or denting. The interior is brightened with LED lighting to offer a clear view of the cabinet, and its two doors are fitted with locks to keep contents secure.

Each of the Hoshizaki EF2A-FS two-section freezer's six shelves are coated with protective, corrosion-resistant epoxy. It utilizes a self-contained refrigeration system to simplify installation and cools with R290 refrigerant, a type of hydrocarbon that is more environmentally friendly than traditional alternatives. This unit is positioned on casters, enabling it to be wheeled away as needed for cleaning or maintenance.
