The Hoshizaki KMD-530MWJ ice maker can produce 515 pounds of ice in ideal conditions. It makes crescent cube ice, which are small cubes with rounded backs that nestle together inside beverage glasses for optimized product displacement. Its self-contained refrigeration system streamlines installation and uses R-404A refrigerant. To prevent mildew formation, this unit features H-Guard Plus® antimicrobial agent, and it's optimized for use with ice and beverage dispensers.

Designed with a stainless steel exterior finish, the Hoshizaki KMD-530MWJ crescent cube ice machine head is tough and resilient against corrosion. Inside the unit is an evaporator that's also made of stainless steel and produces hard, clear ice with few imperfections. Because the crescent cubes are produced individually, the machine doesn't release a large sheet of ice that needs to be broken up by the user. Through its Evercheck™ alert system, this ice maker notifies users when maintenance is needed, and its removable panels streamline access.
