Each door section has two epoxy-coated shelves that are adjustable in ¹/₂-inch increments, while the drawers hold full-size food pans. Both the unit's exterior and interior are made of stainless steel€”a corrosion-resistant material that resists heavy use and supports simple cleanup. For transportation between locations, this unit has 6-inch casters (two with brakes).

To maintain consistent temperatures, the Hoshizaki PR93B-D4 pizza prep table uses a R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and is insulated with 2-inch polyurethane foam. With a rail temperature range between 16 and 36 degrees Fahrenheit and cabin temperature range between 28 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit, this table has solid-state thermostatic controls, temperature alarms, and an LED display. Its night/day mode prevents food from freezing overnight if left in the rail.
