The Hoshizaki R2A-FG two-section commercial refrigerator's glass doors let kitchen staff see inside the cabinet, so they can tell at a glance what's being stored and what needs replacing. Stainless steel adds strength and resilience to the refrigerator, so it is resistant to rusting and corrosion and holds up well against the denting and scratching a busy kitchen can deal out. To reduce thermal loss, the cabinet is foamed with CFC-free polyurethane insulation.

The Hoshizaki R2A-FG reach-in refrigerator uses a digital solid-state controller to manage temperature, which is displayed in either Fahrenheit or Celsius on an LED screen. With its ducted air distribution system, the cabinet keeps hot spots minimal and optimizes overall circulation. Giving chefs a large amount of storage space, it has 50 cubic feet and six shelves between its two sections. LED cabinet lighting lowers the energy cost a conventional lighting system would incur.
