The Hoshizaki SR48B-12D4 sandwich and salad prep table offers a high-capacity design through its four drawers that sit on durable drawer slides that can accommodate as much as 175 pounds. Meant for versatile pan configurations, the top drawers fit one half-size pan and one third-size pan; the rear drawers are great for a sixth-size pan (pans not included). For the top part of this structure, this unit ships with 12 sixth-size pans for holding diced produce, sliced meats, and shredded cheeses as employees craft sandwiches to order. To protect the displayed items from contaminants like chemicals or bugs, this prep table's structure is supplied with an insulated stainless steel cover.

The base of the Hoshizaki SR48B-12D4 prep table is made of stainless steel that offers a durable, corrosion-resistant design that's simple to wipe down. Furthermore, the back and bottom are made of coated steel. This highly industrial unit can be maneuvered on the set of 6-inch casters, and because this unit's self-contained refrigeration system is front breathing, installation is simplified. For less energy consumption, the evaporator is not electric and epoxy coated to support effective use. The unit's reinforced air distribution can be set between 32 and 52 degrees Fahrenheit and withstands ambient temperatures as high as 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
