The two-section Hoshizaki UR60B undercounter refrigerator measures 60 inches wide by 31 inches deep by 33³/₄ inches high to fit underneath most countertops in a commercial kitchen. The unit sits on four casters, two of which have brakes to prevent it from moving around during use. For an extended service life, this undercounter unit is constructed of durable stainless steel.

The interior is also made of stainless steel and can be accessed using the two doors, which are spring assisted to create a self-closing design; these doors also have a stay-open feature for stocking. Behind each cabinet door is one epoxy-coated shelf that can be adjusted up or down in ¹/₂-inch increments to create a personalized storage space. The cabinet is insulated with polyurethane foam to hold in cold air, making it safe in ambient temperatures as high as 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Hoshizaki UR60B two-section undercounter refrigerator can be set between 32 and 52 degrees and works to maintain that temperature using its self-contained refrigeration system. This system is rear mounted and uses capillary tubes to circulate R290 refrigerant, which cools the unit at a reduced carbon footprint compared to traditional refrigerants.
