The Hoshizaki UR72B undercounter refrigerator is constructed of stainless steel and features three sections of cold storage designed to hold various food items at safe temperatures. The flat top allows it to be stored underneath a countertop in existing commercial kitchen layout, enabling users to add to their storage space without reducing mobility within the kitchen. The undercounter unit measures 72 inches wide by 31 inches deep by 33³/₄ inches high and offers 18¹/₄ cubic feet of internal cold storage space.

The refrigeration system is self-contained for compact spaces and uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant€”an environmentally friendly, energy-efficient design. The evaporator coils are protected from corrosion and dust built up by an epoxy coating. The system works to keep the inside of the unit at a set level between 32 and 52 degrees Fahrenheit, and the polyurethane foam insulation helps the unit maintain this temperature in ambient temperatures as high as 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

The three sections of the Hoshizaki UR72B commercial undercounter refrigerator are accessible through the three stainless steel doors mounted on its front. These doors have recessed aluminum handles, which save space and don't stick out into the space in front of the unit. The door gaskets are easy to remove and clean and each cabinet features 1 adjustable shelf for changing storage needs. The inside of the cabinets are also constructed of durable stainless steel that can simply be wiped clean as needed.
