This Howard-McCray SC-OS30E-4 open merchandiser uses a self-contained refrigeration system to bring the unit to the desired operating temperature which ranges from 36 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. To prevent ice from forming on vital components, the defrost system functions automatically up to six times a day. The Copeland hermetic system helps to maintain cool conditions, and for even distribution of air, the fan operates an a low velocity.
