The Howard-McCray SC-CFS32E-8-BE-LED fish/poultry service case features a heavy-gauge steel super structure with a black exterior and a white interior. To withstand constant contact and support labeling equipment, the top is made of stainless steel. The 1-inch ends of the cabinet can be removed and attached to others to create an endless design. To ease access for cleaning and maintenance, the rear and side grilles can be removed.

Positioned at the base of the Howard-McCray SC-CFS32E-8-BE-LED full-service fish/poultry case is its self-contained refrigeration system. It uses R513a refrigerant and works to reach the desired holding temperature from 38 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Users must access the electronic controller to set the temperature and to monitor the system's functionality. The defrost system runs automatically once a day to prevent ice development.
