In ideal conditions, the Ice-O-Matic MFI1256R ice maker head can produce as much as 1,054 pounds of ice in a day to help keep up with solid product demand. It's a good choice for hospitals and supermarkets with its flake ice€”a light ice variety great for packing around display trays in refrigerated cases or creating ice packs. Since it's a remotely cooled system, ice machine noise is relocated to an alternative location to improve the workplace environment.

Holding up to scratching from ice as well as potential long-term corrosion and rust, the Ice-O-Matic MFI1256R ice machine is built with a stainless steel evaporator and auger that offer excellent durability. Its water sensor detects when water levels are low in the head to avoid subjecting the machine to low-water failure, and if problems come up during operations, the head's SystemSafe feature deactivates it.
