This Infrico IUC-MSG72 refrigerated storage unit can hold 440 pounds within each of the four self-closing drawers. The heavy-duty drawer slides ensure the construction remains structurally intact over time€”great for holding 14.3-cubic feet of chicken, steak, and other meats momentarily. This unit measures 72⁵/₈ inches wide by 32¹/₂ inches deep by 26¹/₄ inches high, and its top features marine edges to support any compatible griddle equipment, catching spills or drips. The interior and exterior sport a durable stainless steel body resistant to dents, corrosion, and other damage, and to maintain consistently cool temperatures inside, this base's interior cabinet is foamed in with high-density polyurethane.

For simpler operation and management, the Infrico IUC-MSG72 chef base's refrigeration system takes on a monoblock INFRIBLOCK™ style. This means the unit is pre-loaded with R134a hydrocarbon refrigerant and includes a built-in condenser and evaporator that simplifies operation. It's front breathing and has a forced airflow system to accurately distribute cold air inside the base's interior cavity, ensure internal temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit are maintained. For user customization and longevity, line cooks can adjust these temperatures with a digital control and initiate an auto-defrost setting to simplify routine cleanings.
