Because its top is 16-gauge stainless steel, it resists rust. To prevent sagging or warping over time, the top is reinforced by a 1-inch by 2-inch full-length support channel. The table is sound deadened to reduce noise output in busy kitchens and includes a storage shelf that can be adjusted up or down for user preference.
