The John Boos ST6R5-2472GSK work table's 72-inch by 24-inch top is large enough to support prep work at a high-volume rate. It's ideal for manual prepping or with dicers, choppers, blenders, and other pieces of small equipment because it has a 16-gauge stainless steel top. This construction is a middle-grade option between thin 18 gauge and thick 14 gauge. The front edge is dull to reduce injury risk, while the side edges are 90 degrees and line up flush to walls and pieces of equipment. Constructed of galvanized steel, the base is economical compared to stainless options and still resistant to corrosion. It includes an adjustable undershelf, so employees can keep supplies close to the prep station.
