John Boos UFBLG7218 72" 18 ga Work Table w/ Undershelf & 430 Series Stainless Top, 1 1/2" Backsplash
The John Boos UFBLG7218 work table has an 18-gauge 430-series stainless steel top that's ideal for prep work done by hand. Because this metal gauge is the thinnest option, it isn't quite as strong as 16-gauge and 14-gauge alternatives, but it's more economical for light-duty operations. The top is designed to be placed against walls since the side edges are straight. Unlike the ends, the front edge has a dull finish that reduces sharp points. The rear edge has a 11/2-inch upturn that keeps ingredients on the work surface. With a 11/2-inch-high backsplash, the top keeps ingredients contained.
