Its front edge is smooth to reduce the risk of injury, and the table sits on 1-inch adjustable feet for stabilization on uneven floors. Made of durable stainless steel, the undershelf provides a space for small pieces of equipment to be stored. This unit's top is made of 18-gauge stainless steel, which is less durable than 16-gauge and 14-gauge alternatives, but it's still strong enough for small prep tasks.
