To protect products from malodors and preserve their quality, the shelf mats are treated with Microban? antimicrobial protection, which slows the growth of microbes, fungi, and bacteria between regular cleanings. For thorough sanitization, these shelf mats can be removed and cleaned in a dishmachine or washing machine.

The Metro 5X447G4 MetroMax 4 shelving system ships with four posts, five shelves, open-grid shelf mats, and five bags of four wedge connectors that enable tool-free assembly. The wedge connectors' raised beads fit into the posts' grooves; their windows align with the posts' numbers to ensure shelves are secured at a level position.
