The Metro C585-SFC-L controlled temperature heated holding cabinet is constructed of durable 304 stainless steel, which resists minor dents and rust. Its reach-in design supports placement against a wall in a prep or serving station, while a set of casters attached to the bottom permit movement from one place to another as needed. Thick, full-perimeter fiberglass insulation provides an efficient barrier to hold in heat, thereby reducing energy consumption.

The top-mounted control panel on the Metro C585-SFC-L heated holding cabinet provides enhanced access and ease of use. Operators can select a holding temperature using the dial affixed to the front and set a lower temperature limit. If the cabinet hovers below this lower limit for more than 5 minutes, an alarm alerts staff by sounding three times every ten seconds.
