To retain heat and energy, the Metro C589-SDS-UPDS full-height heated cabinet is built with solid Dutch doors, and the cabinet is insulated with full-perimeter, high-density fiberglass. Utilizing top-mounted controls, the unit reaches temperatures ranging from 70 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, and a low-temp alarm will alert users of any accidental temperature changes. Designed as a pass-thru unit, it has doors on either side to enable product retrieval from both directions.

The Metro C589-SDS-UPDS mobile heated cabinet's universal slides can be adjusted in 1¹/₂-inch increments. Because they're made of wire, they include gaps that improve airflow to promote uniform heating, and they accommodate as many as (17) 18-inch by 26-inch or (32) 12-inch by 20-inch by 2¹/₂-inch food pans. This unit is made of durable stainless steel, which resists rusting and corroding.
