The Metro C589-SFC-L mobile heated cabinet's solid-state controller provides a temperature readout for monitoring, and its top-mounted controls can be used to adjust the temperature between 70 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit. High-density fiberglass insulation is installed around the full perimeter of the cabinet to reduce heat and energy loss, and if the temperature hovers too low, a low-temp alarm will sound to alert employees. This unit is operated with a ducted heating system—a digitally controlled feature that heats quickly and provides rapid recovery times.

To enable mobility, the Metro C589-SFC-L full-height insulated heated cabinet is equipped with 5-inch casters. The doors are made of double-paned tempered glass, providing a view of food inside the cabinet without letting energy escape. This unit measures 29¹/₈ inches wide by 32⁵/₈ inches deep by 74.75 inches high, and its lip-load slides accommodate (35) 18-inch by 26-inch food pans.
