Operated via a digitally controlled ducted heating system, the Metro C589-SFC-UPFS insulated heated cabinet provides rapid heat up and recovery times. An alarm will sound if the temperature drops below the operator-selected lower limit, and a solid-state controller provides a readout of the temperature to enable accurate monitoring. Using the top-mounted control panel, employees can adjust the temperature from 70 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. These controls also include a push-button memory recall function to pull up recently used settings.

The Metro C589-SFC-UPFS full-height heated cabinet's slides are made of wire, enabling air to flow through the gaps for even product heating. The 3-inch universal slides can be adjusted in 1¹/₂-inch increments and accommodate (18) 18-inch by 26-inch or (34) 12-inch by 20-inch by 2¹/₂-inch food pans. Strong enough for commercial use, this unit is made of rust- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
