Equipped with straightforward controls, the Metro C599-SDS-U C5? 9 Series heated holding cabinet can hold foods at precise temperatures and humidity levels. It prioritizes temperature over humidity, ensuring foods are warm and ready to serve. Employees can check on the holding environment using the two digital display screens at the top, and if either the temperature level or the reservoir's water level falls too low, an alarm alerts those nearby to the issue.

To ensure food stays warm, this Metro C599-SDS-U heated cabinet features a dual element, ducted heating system. The cabinet and doors are filled with fiberglass insulation that traps in heat and blocks out ambient air. Likewise, gaskets in the door frame eliminate gaps where heat could escape. Each door is half size so it releases minimal hot air when opened, and to ensure they close correctly, each door is attached by two self-closing hinges. For transport, magnetic pull latches secure the doors, and a lower bumper protects the cabinet from collisions.
