The Metro C5T9D-ASL C5? T-Series mobile heated cabinet is made of type 304 stainless steel—a heavy-duty metal that resists rust and corrosion. Transport Armour? features, such as steel-reinforced polymer handles and polymer panels, help protect the exterior from dents and scuffs to preserve its original look over time. Inside the two cavities, the sides, top, base, and rear wall are insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane to minimize temperature fluctuations and add structural rigidity. The two solid Dutch doors provide direct access to a specific cabinet section, and to determine a cavity's contents quickly, each door features a three-function information panel that includes a cabinet ID, whiteboard, and clipboard.

Inside this full-height Metro C5T9D-ASL heated cabinet, lip-load slides accommodate (28) 12-inch by 20-inch by 2.5-inch steam pans or (14) 18-inch by 26-inch sheet pans. As inventory changes, the slides can be raised or lowered by 1¹⁷/₂₅ inches. Operators can use the top-mounted, electromechanical thermostat to adjust each cavity's temperature as high as 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The ducted convection heating system warms the cavities quickly and recovers temperature changes to support consecutive uses. Even when the unit is unplugged or turned off, the analog thermometer displays a temperature readout so operators can ensure product is held at safe temperatures.
