T-Series Transport Armour? heavy-duty heated cabinet features solid-state digital temperature controls, including low- and high-temperature alarms, a recall and memory button, diagnostic troubleshooting, and a digital display. Operators can adjust temperatures to a maximum of 200 degrees Fahrenheit, and the ducted convection heating system maintains the programmed temperature. The solid-state control's mobile power mechanism continues circulating air inside the cabinet and ensures the controller is operable, even if the unit is unplugged or being transported.

The Metro C5T9D-DSB heated cabinet's sides, top, base, and rear wall are insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane to minimize temperature changes, while a solid Dutch door correlates with both cavities so users can access a specific cabinet. For quick identification, a cabinet ID, whiteboard, and clipboard are included with the doors. Bottom-load slides built into the cabinet hold as many as 14 sheet pans or 32 steam table pans, and these slides can be raised or lowered by 1¹⁷/₂₅ inches. Because this cabinet is designed to be moved, its steel-reinforced polymer handles work like bumpers to protect the unit from collision damage, and polymer armour panels add side barriers that shield the exterior from panic bars and door handles. Overall, this full-height unit has a 30-inch-wide by 39¹/₄-inch-deep by 73⁷/₈-inch-high structure.
