The blue Metro MF-215474G-S-4 polymer louvered shelf kit ships in pieces and must be assembled by the purchaser; assembly is simple and does not require tools. Included are four posts, four shelves, and wedge connectors, and when completed, the shelf unit is 53¹⁵/₁₆ inches wide by 21¹/₂ inches deep by 74³/₁₆ inches tall. This unit is a starter unit, meaning add-on shelves can be purchased and joined to this unit to expand storage capabilities.

The plastic construction is equipped with Microban antimicrobial technology that contributes to preventing bacteria and mold spreading across the shelf's surfaces.
