Built to withstand rust and other forms of corrosion, the Metro MF-244274G-S-4 louvered shelf kit is primarily constructed from polymer for durability that can support a maximum weight of 2,000 pounds over its four shelves. Each individual polymer shelf can support 800 pounds on its own and can be disassembled for cleaning and transport. It attaches to its four sturdy posts through a series of wedge connectors, with four connectors meant for each shelf. Overall, the unit measures 41¹⁵/₁₆ inches wide by 24¹/₂ inches deep by 74³/₁₆ inches high.

Capable of being cleaned without disassembly, the Metro MF-244274G-S-4 shelving unit can have mild, non-abrasive detergents applied to its body without damaging it. Additionally, its disassembled shelves can be loaded into a dishwasher and cleaned without becoming warped or damaged. To keep the unit clean without the need for constant maintenance, its polymer construction is naturally antimicrobial, while its shelves are coated in holes to keep stagnant water from pooling.
