Constructed to resist corrosion and bacterial buildup, the Metro PR-247274K3-S-4 shelving unit utilizes an epoxy coating along its metal posts and wire shelf frames. The kit comes with four epoxy-coated metal posts, four epoxy-coated wire shelving frames, and four polymer shelf mats. Each individual shelf can hold 600 pounds, while the fully assembled unit can hold up to 2,000 pounds. Overall, the unit measures 71⁷/₈ inches wide by 24¹/₈ inches deep by 74⁷/₈ inches high.

Built with maintenance and care in mind, the Metro PR-247274K3-S-4 wire shelf kit's shelf mats can be removed and placed in a dishwasher for a speedy, hands-off cleaning—each features draining holes to keep liquids from pooling and bacteria from forming. The posts have markings every 8 inches for even placement of shelves, while the entire unit rests on a series of leveling feet for stability during stocking.
