Because the polymer posts of the Metro Q466G3 shelf kit come embossed in 1-inch increments, users can attach the snap-on wedges to set up shelves evenly and at their preferred spacing. The four-sided steel frames feature an open-corner configuration that slides over the wedges to establish a stable, secure hold, and the polymer shelf mats can be removed or applied as needed. Each shelf can hold 600 pounds of deli cold cuts, hummus, cheese wedges, and other products, but the unit's load should not exceed 2,000 total pounds.

For walk-in coolers and other climate-controlled storage spaces, the MetroMax? Q shelf kit's four-sided steel frame is durable and protected from corrosion by an epoxy coat. Microban? antimicrobial protection is embedded in the unit's design to inhibit fungal and bacterial growth to extend the shelf life of products. It's ideal for ambient temperatures between -20 and 125 degrees Fahrenheit. For cleaning, the shelf mats can be washed in a dishmachine, while the posts and steel frame can be wiped down with a cloth and non-abrasive cleaning materials.
