The Metro X426G4 starter shelving kit is made with durable, Microban?-infused polymer that slows mold, bacteria, and mildew growth. The kit includes four shelves with gridded mats to prevent the pooling of spills while providing aeration for stored materials. It also includes four wedge connectors and four posts, and it can be assembled without tools.

The Metro X426G4 shelving set has an individual shelf capacity of 800 pounds, though the unit shouldn't be loaded with more than 2,000 pounds at a time to maintain structural integrity. The unit's polymer construction withstands temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit, so it can be used in a walk-in freezer. When placing items on the shelving, the heaviest items should be placed at the bottom to maintain stability.
