This air-cooled Scotsman NH0422A-1 Prodigy Plus® ice machine head uses R-404A refrigerant to produce a maximum of 456 pounds of ice in 24 hours when ambient air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Its H² nugget ice is harder than original chewable nugget ice and is ideal for cooling soft drinks or lemonade. Its sealed self-contained refrigeration system helps prevent airborne particulate contamination, while its auger and evaporator's durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction is capable of withstanding long-term use.

AgION® antimicrobial protection is built into the Scotsman NH0422A-1 ice maker head's key components to slow bacterial growth between cleanings. The unit's front panel is removable, providing direct access to internal parts for servicing and maintenance. For flexible installation, it has front-breathing design that doesn't require side clearance. To further ease cleaning, this unit features AutoAlert® indicator lights that signal when it's time to descale or sanitize while increasing visibility. Overall, this unit measures 22 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 23 inches high and fits atop an ice bin, which is sold separately.
