For installation atop an ice bin, this Scotsman NH0422W-1 Prodigy Plus® ice maker measures 227/10 inches wide by 2423/25 inches deep by 23 inches high and has a self-contained, water-cooled condenser. To withstand heavy-duty, long-term use, the evaporator and auger are stainless steel—a rigid, corrosion-resistant metal—and the unit has a stainless steel finish that creates a sleek look. AgION® antimicrobial protection is built into internal components to slow bacterial growth between cleanings.
The Scotsman NH0422W-1 ice machine head produces 441 pounds of H2 nugget ice in 24 hours when incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit and ambient air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit. H2 nugget ice has a harder consistency than original chewable ice and is ideal for fast food beverages because it has a greater drink displacement than dice cubes. This water-cooled unit uses R-404A refrigerant, and its sealed refrigeration system helps protect product from airborne particulate contamination. AutoAlert® indicator lights are built into a visible location so operators can track status and maintenance requirements.
