The Scotsman XR-30 XSafe® sanitation system is installed on top of modular cube ice machines. This unit generates a mix of negatively charged ions, photo plasma, and ozone that helps eliminate harmful contaminants, such as viruses. Protecting machine surfaces and the surrounding area, the mixture passes through the ice maker's food zone where ice is produced. This mixture also travels to the bin to provide additional protection for ice that's already been produced.

Defending machines and ice from bacteria, viruses, and fungi, the Scotsman XR-30 XSafe sanitation system helps inhibit the formation of mold, slime, and yeast. Preventing health-code infractions, this automated unit employs chemical-free cleaning.
