To control the heat of the burners, this unit comes with manual controls that have heat settings ranging from low to high.

Durability and strength are provided by an aluminized and stainless steel construction, and messes are contained to the cooktop with side and rear splashes. The 4-inch-tall, adjustable legs lift the Southbend HDG-36-M griddle off the countertop to prevent overheating.
