The Southbend HDG-48 gas griddle is thermostatically controlled every 12 inches for accurate control over the temperature. It operates from 200 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and load-sensing thermostats are embedded in the plate for exact temperature monitoring. A 1-inch thick plate distributes heat evenly and will not warp over time as the unit repeatedly heats up and cools down. A backsplash and side splashes contain messes to the cooking surface, and a large capacity grease drawer simplifies the cleaning process. This Southbend HDG-48 gas griddle is elevated off the countertop with adjustable legs for non-level surfaces.
