The Southbend S60DD-2TR gas range has a top with six burners and a 24-inch griddle. Burners and removable grates are made of cast iron, and the rear grates accommodate 14-inch-diameter stock pots for preparing large batches of broth, stew, pasta, and other popular dishes. Staff can prepare pancakes, eggs, and more on the griddle plate, while it is 1 inch thick to resist warping from heating up and cooling down.
There are two standard ovens in the base of the unit for baking cookies, chicken, vegetables, and more, with the oven operating from 175 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit with a snap-action thermostat. One removable rack is included for each cavity with two adjustable positions, and this Southbend S60DD-2TR gas range has 4-inch, adjustable, stainless steel legs, so the operator can clean under the unit.
