Star 615TF 15" Gas Griddle w/ Thermostatic Controls - 1" Steel Plate, Convertible

The Star 615TF Star-Max? griddle comes ready to be heated by natural gas, and includes a conversion kit if operators would rather use LP gas. A U-shaped, aluminized-steel burner provides heat to the plate and is controlled by an embedded modulating thermostat, which operates from 150 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and offers quick response time when the temperature is changed. Extending to protect operators from burns, a bull-nose front protects the control knob from damage.

Measuring 1 inch thick, the plate on the griddle resists warping at high temperatures while distributing and retaining heat better than thin plates. Messes are contained to the plate by the tapered splash guards. The Star 615TF griddle has a 3¹/₄-inch-wide grease trough and 4¹/₂-quart grease drawer.
